Today was the kids primary program presentation at church. They did a great job I’d say but of course I’m biased. It’s nice to see them growing up and learning new things though. Chullain didn’t stress out this year and Victoria read her talk instead of looking at little pictures and having someone help her with the 10 words on the paper like last year. Here are the talks which they pretty much wrote themselves. (Ohh, Victoria lost hers already after holding onto it for weeks of practicing so this is as close as you’re going to get).
Chullain:
Read Galatians 5:13. Hello, today I’m going to tell you about the time I gave service. What happened waas we were in New York. We were there to see our Grandpa and Grandma and our best friends Duncan and Rachel. Our Grandpa was going to have surgery on his knee. He was having surgery because he hurt his knee when he was young. He wanted to cut down part of a tree before his surgery Duncan and I helped move the tree. It was very hot. He got us icecream after that. We were a big help. I felt very good inside for helping my Grandpa. I can follow Him in faith when I give service . I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Victoria:
I can serve others. The scriptures tell us that we should serve others. When you are in the service of your fellow beings you are only in the service of your God. Alma 2:17. When I was in NY visiting my Grandpa he had a surgery and it hurt him a lot. I got him a banana and drinks and I turned on the fan for him. I felt good when I helped him. (this is all she remembered, like I said the talk was lost)
Another days event was that they had a little baby shower for me at church. It was nice of everyone to think of doing that especially since this is the third baby and we already have a boy and a girl. Here’s a photo. You can see the diversity of the branch. I feel like a giant whenever we line up for pictures though I’m only 5′5″ and in America I’m average to short.

Aaw and you should be!
So cute!
The world should have more moms like u, that raise their kids with such good morals.
This lady – I try but some days are better than others as you can imagine. It’s a journey to be sure.
