Field Trip

This week we were able to go on a field trip with some of our homeschool group to Alamogordo where the NM Space History Museum is located. After a quick trip though the museum we viewed an IMAX film on the Apollo missions to the moon and had some lunch. We parents of course were all pleased by the educational portions of the trip and the kids did really enjoy them but what they enjoyed most was our stop at White Sand National Monument on the way home. It was a dune climbing and sledding extravaganza. Here are some of my favorite photos!

Ohh and due to an extended road block we had to kill some time and so stopped at our own missile museum right here at home. The kids had some fun climbing around though it was really windy.

They can have fun anywhere. This is the crew climbing the wall at the space history museum.

They obliged us with a group photo though they were dying to leap off the side of the dune. This is a bit less than half of the normal size of our homeschool group.

I stumbled upon your blog while looking for a homeschooling group for my daughter. Could you send me the info on your homeschooling group in Alamo?
    Thanks,
    Jenn
